this is No Fishing Zone, a pinch hit I did for MsTrueImage. her request asked for Roxy, Meenah and cats!
this was this sort of drawing that starts out really simple, but kind of gains a life of its own as you work on it — the contrast between their expressions, the way Meenah’s almost like a disgruntled cat herself, climbing and snarling, the sheer multitude of animals. god, I drew so many cats.you can see it on AO3 here, since it’s rather shrunk by tumblr. ahaha, I’m glad people thought it was cute — I had a lot of fun. I have one more work I’m going to post in a sec.
